Spring Trail Maintenance Work Days
Saturday & Sunday
9 am - 1 pm
First Weekend - May
Second Weekend - May

The trails are getting overgrown, so we are planning two work weekends to get them back in shape. We accomplished a great deal last year. Join us for one day, one weekend or the whole shabang. For every four hours you work, you earn one night free stay. Come for the day and work, and use your free night stay another time. Or work for the morning, have your afternoon free and stay the night free. If you work Saturday and Sunday you can stay for free Friday night and Saturday night. Not interested in the hard labor of trail maintenance? Help Dawn with weeding and prepping the garden for summer. If you live nearby and don't need the nights stay, we will give you a gift certificate to pass along to a friend. Call Michael for more information.

Perennial Swap - Sunday, Memorial Day Weekend at 2 pm

Join us for this fun event. About 100 guests with 100s of perennials vie for the best starting position for this must be here event. The whistle is blown promptly at 2:30 and then the swapping starts. The Perennial Swap is for Farm guests and invited guests only, so make your reservations early so you won't miss out.

Our oldest grand-daughter Makayla is perched on the front stoop near the hydrangea. We love to have guests enjoy the beautiful gardens... and sometimes we even send them home with some special plants that they admire.

The white garden was a success!

SUMMER

Hebron Fair - Last Saturday in July • NASCAR Racing
Laconia Classic Motorcycle Week - June

Lupine Run - June
Michael leads a fun Lupine Run on the last Saturday of Bike Week. Meet at the farm at 9:30 for a gorgeous ride through the Sugar Hill / Franconia area to get spectacular views of lupines and the mountains. Stop at overlooks and for lunch.

Farm guests are always invited to join us for our motorcycle tours around New Hampshire and beyond. If you stay over bike week you can count on us taking two or three days out of our schedule to plan some great riding. These are rides for people who love to ride (not just talk about it). We found some folks who love to ride as much as us. See the Balsam's photo below, Dawn is surrounded by Lorraine and Jerry on the left of the photo and Cheryl and John on the right.
